【Properties】
Shentergen PX-1 is an anionic surfactant with good penetration, wetting, emulsifying and dispersing functions. It contains neither nonylphenol nor APEO. Shentergen PX-1 can emulsify and disperse the fat in the hide and then remove it, and it also has the good effect on degreasing from the grain.
Shentergen PX-1 can remove the contamination and the fat from the hide after shaving, and also enhance the even dyeing in the dyeing step.
It is used mainly in beam house and can disperse the calcium soap which would do harm to leather.
【Characteristic features】
Appearance: Light yellow transparent viscous liquid.
Effective Substance（%）: ≥25
pH Value (1:10): 9.0~11.0
【Application】
First Degreasing: 1.5~2% on raw hide weight
Deliming: 0.2~0.5% on pelt weight
After shaving and during neutralization: 0.5~1.0% on shaved weight. The exact dosage would be dependent on the fat content in the hide.
【Transportation and Storage】
Shentergen PX-1 is categorized as non-DG cargo, can be transported and stored normally. It has a shelf life of at least one year if they are stored in their tightly sealed original packaging at temperatures between 8℃ and 40℃. Drums should be tightly resealed each time material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they are opened.
